Engine paint is flaking, and there's some wear and tear on the grey alloy looking bits around the bike are in need of a touch up to, any ideas on colours, makes, how to paint them ?

For the black I've always used bog standard hammerite smooth, seems to cope with the temperatures fine in my experience, one would assume the same for silver covers!

And I happen to have some of that in the garage, but I think the silver is going to be to silver

I done my engine a few months ago with HYCOTE Engine Enamel Gloss Black.
Came out brilliant and so far so good

i was tempted to respray my engine too because the previous owner did a shoddy job with a brush and left massive brush strokes.. Whats the best way to remove paint from engine, just wet and dry paper?
