wezdavo-mine is identical bar pillion grabrail-I have a Renntec rack in (shhh... BLACK)  but the black on bike complements the BLUE!

Well, thank God he's not on a red bike any more!! 

As for black bikes, I have 2 words: Cal Crutchlow. He's on a satellite bike, yet he's whupping quite a few of the factory teams! Beat that, blue boys!

If you take all the colours of the fastest bikes and mix them together do you get black ?

Black rules. It matchs the frame, engine, seat, side panels and wheels much better.

That's not much of a contrast though is it? I wrote like the idea of two or three colours which show the flow or contours through the bike.  We all know black's a PITA to keep clean too  .  I did think DPBMC would do better but I guess there are more of the older bikes around than the precursors to the fz's. There is still time for DPBMC to win though :-P

That's what black does to my eyes. Also the aluminum parts and engine fins are more noted.
The mosquitos on black add personality too. They look more dirty because in fact they were smashed at higher speed with black bikes.

I preferred my red 600 to my blue one, but I thought the poll was for what people own

I really like the dark red and black combo on the thous - seems really rare but if I was to get one, its the colour scheme I'd look out for

I think the base colour is red.  This would make it Vrc1 I think

Vrc1 I think.  Look at my link above (http://foc-u.co.uk/index.php/topic,34.0.html) I think yours is a first gen if it's on a T plate.

I'm pretty sure dryc1 is gold...somewhat confusingly.  Check out the link.

Ah yeah, I see the colour names mentioned above now

In that case, VRC7 is the deep red and VRC1 is the lighter red as mine was a '99 and the darker colour
