Mirror to fairing nuts torq settings
« on: 18 April 2013, 08:39:42 am »
Hi just bought some new mirrors 2 (Genuine) at a cost of £73 each
and just look at my haynes manual and there seams to be no torq
setting for it. does some have an other manual with them.

I 'nipped' mine up about 18 months ago and they are still there and are not loose!

I like that, thats a good one.
6Nm sounds good so far.
any more advances on 6 Nm.
just to let you all know that i will be selling the old genuine ones that come off
before long. which are not to bad just a few light scratches on plastic.
i  am still in putting the bike back to its factory fresh look as i do on all of my
bike previously and yes they all do get used.

Tighten until the fairing breaks and then loosen 1/2 turn  :evil  That's what I always seem to do :lol
