rough idle

have just MOT the bike after a long lay of rough idle no power from start plenty power after 2000 revs removed fuel and replaced still the same put carb cleaner in new fuel still the same any ideas

after the long lay up i would say gummed up pilot jets.....carb cleaner not man enough to clear it  ;)

I had a similar experience turned out to be dodgy connection to the spark plugs you could try taking the caps of cleaning them up and trying again, others recommend trimming off a bit of each lead too.

try some sea foam fuel treatment, you can buy it on ebay
