Hey,

Welcome to the forum, sorry. I have no idea about prices but looking around and see what you can get for your money is never a bad thing.

It wouldn't be fun if it was easy, I just wish it wasn't this much fun.

hi chris, i've been looking a few week now and what comes up are miles away and i dare'nt buy with out at least looking, theres one in a shop near me but was'nt impressed with the condition! just seen one in wales on gumtree but thats along way from barnsley. even the bikes with high miles on seem to be holding there price, but when you ask about or look on here people seem to be struggling to sell, any way i've got up to 3000 to spend hopefully get one with some goodies on???

I guess it's still early in the season, especially with the current weather, for bikes to be selling. Put a wanted advert in the classifieds section on here, you never know  ;)

What do you want the bike for? commuting? traveling? if so on, your own or 2 up? blasting country lanes at the weekend? trackdays?

3K should get you a fairly nice thou with a couple of extras on. Have you considered a fzs600 2002 - 2003 foxeye model? Albeit slower and slightly smaller than a thou you would be getting a lot more for your money. You could pick up a mint 600 for around 2 -2.5k and have lots of money left over for mods or some new gear  8)
