Planned Matlock Bath parking charges scrapped

I have just seen this which says that the planned parking charges for Matlock Bath have been scrapped due to the amount of people that protested.

This is great news and I am now looking forward to eating fish n chips there in the sun and spending a couple of quid in the arcades :D

Ok, it's good news, so far, but look at the comment at the end: "decision has been taken not to continue with the proposal at this time"...
