Hi all, does anyone know how to find out what setting your pre-load is at on the rear suspension,cheers Steve

p.s. ooops just  in case you're wondering :rolleyes its a fzs 600 (2001)

The rear suspension has a sort of ring near the top with notched groves beneath it that it slots in to. They get incrementally higher to provide different levels of pre-load - its quite hard to explain so I'll try and get a photo for you tomorrow when its light outside

Nope, but it's been dragged out of the garage as the contractors are slowly beginning to start work.

I'm looking in to buying a replacement regardless of what my bank says (that's what Credit Cards are for right? :P) and if so then my old one may yet be able to provide some parts. One I'm looking at has quite badly rusted original downpipes and potentially a clutch on its way out. So I still have my stainless steel pipes and I can hopefully whip out the clutch from my old bike. Not that I'm going to tell the seller these things, I want bargaining points! :P
