Rev counter flicked to 9k
« on: 11 November 2012, 04:52:23 pm »
Hello foccer's, came back from a little sunday blast today and as I negotiated my slippery path the front slipped out from me and had to gently lay the bike down and stepped off. No damage done, thanks to the crash bobbins but on turning on the ignition rev counter flicked to 9k. Started alright and didn't do it again. So am I right in assuming it was the tilt sensor and will it need resetting at all, or have I got away with it ? Thanks peeps. :)

Sez here in the Yamaha service manual that it was the emergency stop switch warning code. Since it started up again, it's probably reset itself so no panic . . .
