Just a quicky folks, my mates got a fazer 600 on an '03(I think ) plate, his ignition barrel has gone fubar, anyone know what barrels will fit? Fazer 1000? Tdm? I had assumed it would be a standard issue multi use barrel that fits loads

Bit more info: Its the fox eye version and according to him, the versions in the last ten months of production were fitted with different ignition barrel. Visually looks the same, but has slightly different wiring and connectors. Any suggestions?

Wemoto seem to sell everything....
Whay have Yamaha ignitions always been crap? My 1000 one is as bad as my RD80 LC one was back in the early 90's when I was a teen!
Honda ones always work, Aprilia & Triumph have the same odd offset key ones, but they work, Yamaha always seem to need a damn good wiggle of the key, does my head in every time!

Think you'll probably find it is the same barrel! Looks the same as my old eighties dt125lc and and even the 350lc of the beginning of that decade! You would have thought Yamaha might have changed it by now, 'specially as they were crap even back then!
