Hi all what grease do I use to pack the needle bearings on the rear wheel and the spindle axle. As just taken back wheel off to get the new tyre fitted on sat

iv used high melting point greese on most bearings on all sorts of things for years with no probs,dont overpack tho!

 'EP2 Bearing grease' is what it says on my tin, any good auto shop will give you the right type if you ask, I'd advise against asking the dopes in Halfords tho.
 I read somewhere that molebdynum disulphude grease is unsuitable because it makes the rollers 'skid' in the sleeve rather than roll around it, or something.

I used silkolene pro rg 2 when I done mine. Was expensive but lasted years and has a multitude if applications
