just swapped engine over and oil light won't turn off!
« on: 22 August 2012, 09:54:18 pm »
hi guys, just changed my engine over on my 2001 fazer, everything runs sweet as a nut but the only thing is, is that the oil light will not turn off! theres plenty of oil in there as topped up to the specified amount... could this be an engine management problem or something else? any help on trying to.get this light off would be muchly appreciated

It won't be engine management, the fzs isn't that advanced :) It just a simple sender and warning bulb. Have you checked for a faulty sender unit.

Before you replace the sensor, check in case you've trapped or damaged any wiring first - it does happen.
