Wife's Gonna Kill Me!

The wife left me with the task of filling in the Kennel Club Registration Form for the litter of puppies my Boxer dog recently had. It's bloody hard thinking of fancy-dan names, so I thought "bugger this" and named each pup after a bike-racer 

• Valentino Rossi
• Nitro Nori Haga
• John Mcguinness
• Joey Dunlop
• Jenny Tinmouth

She'll kill me when the certificates arrive

Tax man will probably not be best pleased either, as surely a dog named "Nitro Nori Haga" will struggle to reach the same price as "Insert fancy-dan name here", to those who care about such nonsense as kennel club pedigrees?

Most buyers of pedigree dogs do care about such nonsense, so it's a no-brainer if you wish to sell your pups for a good price. There are, however, exceptions to all rules and one of the buyers didn't give a rat's ass so his wasn't registered - hence the five names, but six pups.

Sorry Rich, the pups are already sold. You get to name them after. The new owners get no say in the KC naming - they just get a surprise

Honestly Rich, after everything that I went through for 8 weeks (hand-rearing 6 puppies cos mum got eclampsia), I bloody deserve to call them what I like 
 
And I won't be subjecting poor Ruby to that again - she's being spayed. We only mated her because she's such a fantastic natured girl and we thought it was the right thing to do to let her have one litter before spaying. BIG mistake. She now has a heart murmur and we have a £1500 vet bill.

When One of mine have a litter ( when I need a young one ) I let the new owners choose there pedigree name and then I register them with my affix first. If I have a potential new owner who doesn't give a rats arse they don't get a pup, simples.
