anal bike cleaning

Now the good weathers approaching (apparently) alot of friends are starting the anal bike clean. I fully appreciate the effort put into make the bikes look nic. e. but riding all year through and trying to keep the fzs looking tidy makes them look anal. theyd replace any nut or bolt the shows any sign of corrosion. just get out and enjoy the ride! your bikes dont see the rain. theyll be fine!!

I'd love for mine to sparkle but it requires far too much effort considering I use mine in any weather...
Even then I'll wash the bike etc but I won't replace bolts etc, that does seem a tad over the top

Living in London, whenever my bikes have gotten a bit grimy I get this fella out:

Once a month in the winter, then whenever it gets grotty.

Clean it, then ride it. then you have an excuse to clean it again.
Once a week is enough.

With the wet and dirty roads-tractor mud etc-I can have the best of both worlds: Enjoy the ride & then get down to some serious bike cleaning
Us severely afflicted types use things like torches, dental mirrors, toothbrushes. There are so many nooks & crannies on the Fazer to explore! Just dont give yourself a stiff neck looking or you will spoil your next ride!
