if like me you replace the whole filter (im not sure if its possible to just replace the inside)
you will need:
a screw driver (pointier the better) and a hammer
step 1: using the hammer hit the screw driver into the oil filter
step 2: use the screwdriver to turn the oil filter and take it off the bike
this is all well and good, until you get to a filter thats been put on by a ham-fisted mechanic, and done up tighter than a gnats whatsit. then the screwdriver just rips the filter apart, and you've made yourself a world of pain. Use the tool on the end, or a chain whip. Its why the proper tools were invented.
step 3: screw on new filter by hand should be able to get it tight enough using your hands mines never lost oil and i have always hand tightend the oil filter
absolutely, just wish the poxy hamfisted mechanics knew that !!
