Hi im fitting a 12volt cigar lighter on my bike  what fuse would you recomend and where to fix the wiring as ive already got my heated grips on the headlight circuit

What do you plan to feed from that socket? And where do you plan to mount the socket?

I use a 5 amp on mine. Not sure its right but hasn't been a problem with running satnav or phone. Or an air pump.
Maybe a 3 would be better but 5 was just handy.

Fitted a marine socket on top of the fairing inner where it is protected from the worst of the weather in line fuse and straight off the battery
