Is there an ALARM????!
« on: 13 May 2019, 02:00:56 pm »
hello fellow foccers,

in the attached image taken from a Haynes manual for an fzs600 1998 where there shows an "Alarm".

can anyone please tell/ show me where this alarm is on the machine and what its fuction is?!

(as far as i can tell from looking at the wiring diagram its a connector block for testing the earth points of the electrics around the bike... but am totally not sure!)

thanks xx

You are correct Freck no bikes had alarms fitted as standard was available as a  optional extra.

The loom has a standard alarm connection point under the seat. When you opt for the alarm, they remove a bypass plug and plug in the alarm instead.

They have, but all removed them. The only thing they were good for was draining teh battery.
