Float level
« on: 27 January 2019, 07:49:37 am »
Have a 1986 FZX 750 with a Dynojet Stage one and 112 main jet.  Does anyone know the float level setting and where that setting should be read from. The Clymer manual says setting is from the bottom of the float bowl but the diagram show the level reference point to be thestop of the drain screw. Any calification would be great

So reference point is the float chamber line and not the bottom of the float chamber.  Will the float level be altered by the fact that the bike has a dynojet fitted and a 112 main jet?

I wouldn't think so, as the fuel pump is more than capable and the fuel line is large enough.
The increase in size over standard is not that big from the charts I have a  Dynojet 112 is about a Mikuni 105 and the original is Mikuni 92.5
Ensure the whole fuel line and filter are clean.
