Someone did mention that around the time i bought them, i did have a glance and they looked okay, although that's not to stop someone slipping a moody one in with a set of 4 to get rid of them?

It's possible. The fakes look so good you'd be hard pressed to tell them apart from the genuine ones.

Just glad i kept my Iridium plugs, i only changed them through doubt before.
Not had issues before with plugs, so bit of a curve ball really. They hide in plain sight, i was thinking i had a coil issue.
