Unobtainable spare parts?

Just out of interest, bearing in mind that even the last Foxeyes are now going to be 13 years old, does anyone know if any of the spare parts are now out of stock with Yamaha?.

Don't know for sure, but usually parts that aren't shared with other bikes become problematic.  The Fazer shares engine parts with FZR600R & Thundercat so mostly ok in that department. Bike plastics usually become the problem, particularly ones that get damaged in a crash / fall over in the driveway.  I'm thinking front nosecone and the fairing's frame in particular, tho it could be straightened fairly easily.

Bought a TPS from Germany recently, was a damn sight cheaper than it would've been over here anyway, but AJ Sutton don't stock them new any more, so presumably they're few and far between.

This might have been a problem years ago but now you can get pretty much any part for the most obscure bikes through the internet. Fazers were a popular bike for years so I don't think spares will be a problem. You'll have driven the bike into the ground before you run out of spares

The only things I know that are definitely not available are front lower brake hoses, but they would not have been a big seller. If you wanted OEM hoses the 1000 ones will fit and they are still available.
