Reshaped my SRAD front guard, rear section needs a little more work, what do you think, bin it or not?

Complete fabrication, I didn't make it up!

O.K. a reply. If you like it keep it, if you don't like it bin it. For myself I want a mudguard to protect the engine and radiator from all the road spray and crap. But this is "your" bike and that mudguard does look good, so maybe you should keep it. Either way it's interesting to see what you are doing with the bike.  :)

I just voted to bin it, I think the bike would look better with a minimalist front guard.

I think it looks a bit fat at the front - what about this photoshopped version - will it take that cutting or even more

I don't do rain or threat there of. dry rider only with no shame.

Looks better, not sure the profile of the guard will allow it though, its not round, if that makes sense

I agree!! However if it's opinions you want, I'm struggling to see what you are trying to achieve with it? Aesthetics or functionality?
Personally I prefer fazersharp slimmed down version. But ultimately I'm perfectly happy with the standard so it it was me I would probably bin it. Only my opinion tho!!!

I'm only interested in aesthetics, if concerned with function I would have left the bike stock. I also like Fazersharp's trimmed down guard, also throwing it in the bin and going for something minimalist appeals, but I then have the issue of mounting it, or rather coming up with a mount I'm happy with.

I'm not discounting any ideas or opinions although returning it to std, considering the rest of the bike, for me would be a step backwards.

Focin difficult this customizing business

It's not for me, but i would say that because i ride in shit weather so i can't help but think of how useless it would be, plus it looks like it's on backwards.
Everyone has their own taste though, so ultimately it's your choice.
