donington park trackday on .............another type of bike
« on: 21 October 2015, 01:20:22 pm »
anyone care to guess best lap for a 50+ overweight, unfit bloke on a 13 yo misfiring gsxr600 with shagged tyres and thrown together suspension and not been ridden for over a year!
closest guess wins some of the chewed up rubber off the rear tyre  :lol

ever seen a 1/2 slick supercorsa...........never ridden there before and had no idea it's a tyre killing track.

I would say a 2:08.03 anyone under 2 would have to be a racer or one hell of a track day rider.

should be up now

steady eddie laps of 1'58 - 2'02. best lap was in session 4 and was 1'56.5 according to my timer app

not too shabby for 1st time there and a few problems.

the vid shows where improvements could be made, old hairpin, s's and goddards. but most importantly i had fun...............and was quicker than my mate on his 1000 :lol

Great track, loved redgate through to Mcleans but never once got coppice right, over braked and wobbled around the first part every lap spending the rest of the lap playing catchup only to fluff it again come coppice

Complete fabrication, I didn't make it up!
