Hi all is their a way to measure float height with carbs apart or is it a case of measure as per manual guess how far to move float and reassemble and hope its right hope that makes sense.

Before you strip them down attach a clear hose to each float drain and turn on your ignition. That'll let you see which carb is faulty. Obviously if you start pishing petrol everywhere then stop.
This can also be rigged up when they're off the bike using gravity. Once you know which one to adjust it's only the fuel bowl screws and a tweek of the float tang.
