Has anybody put a givi topbox on their fz1s 2006 onwards model and gone against givi recommendations to only use monolock up to 37ltr box with max 6kg weight?
I was hoping to use a bigger box than 37ltr and I also heard monokey is better than monolock. Don't wanna do any damage to the bike subframe because of a box.
Any help is appreciated :-)

I've an e55 on my 05 gen1 I've overloaded a few times and its coped.
Wouldn't like to go to far with it like that though.

on my gen1 i have a monolock with a 42l case which had 25kg of assorted crap her stuff and we were fair tramping on coming back through france.
the most important part is the lock, not how it interfaces with the rack!!
