I have just fitted an R6 shock to my thou, quite obvious how the preload and compression is adjusted but , not a clue about the rebound , I assume its done with the allen screw by the gas container, could someone elaborate , thanks .

Preload is done by rotating the ramp adjuster ring at the top of the spring. Use C spanner or OEM tool to adjust.
Rebound is on the hasp where the bottom of the shock attaches to the linkage. Use flat headed screwdriver to adjust.
Compession is adjusted at the top end of the shock. Use socket.

You have two forms of compression damping adjustment.
Socket on the outer for low speed compression. Allen key in the inner for high speed compression.
Rebound damping at the bottom as described by KK.

Ok thanks ,I thought I saw a C next to the the flathead adjuster by the bottom Yoke. I have been on varios R6 sites, no consistant information available "obviously the shock has varied over the years" Shock is very good incedently, just need a bit of tuning to get right
