Are you talking about ram air (as in a pressurised air box) or simply fitting seperate pod (K&N race type) filters?

i mean, seal up my air box and run to "hoover" pipes down side of the bike into the airbox without it looking stupid.
and hopefully the outcome will be more speed more air forced into the airbox therefore acting like a very small turbo effect perhaps helping top end accel ninjas gsxrs cbrs every sports bike has them even most naked bikes so doubt they would be there for show.
obv it may need upjetting and whatever but is it possible to make it do able and look nice?

You ought to run that idea by Yamahas R&D dept, they might even pay you a royalty.

thought of this myself not a lot of room at the normal intake point though so a new filter would be needed and as you have said would have to be up jetted so as not to run lean at higher reves would probably not gain much without further tuning
follow me and ile show you were to crash

The intake silencer can be cut at least (the plastic pipe at the airbox cap), and a high flow filter fitted.

hopefully the outcome will be more speed

If you wanted to go faster than 130MPH, why did you buy a Fazer 600 ?
Experience suggests that these days if you want 10 more HP from a bike, you'd better buy one that was designed to make 10 more HP otherwise the transmission will break and the handling will be crap and the engine will die early.

Fazer Thou?, Z750?, GSRX600?, CB600RR?,  1200 Bandit? . All different and faster compromises, some cheaper than yours.
