clutch lever
« on: 18 May 2014, 09:17:05 pm »
Hey all, seeking some advice for my 02 foxeye, I have an issue with my left hand, the fazer clutch is light enough for me I just wish I could adjust the lever closer to the bar,ive read about possibly using a zx9 clutch lever and perch, is this correct & if so what year/model of zx9, this would make my life so much easier, thanks in advance

I'd recommend the Chinese adjustable levers, available on ebay

yeah I agree, had them on my last fazer 1000 and now just fitted another set to my current 1000.  Funny thing is I paid around £14 for both clutch and brake lever and then there are UK sellers selling the exact same item for £54!!!!

 :rolleyes :rolleyes

I spent ages trying to find some full lenth adjustable levers for my fzs 600,could find short ones but not long ones so bought these
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/350826785211?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649.  (r6 levers). and bought a r6 perch of ebay for £12. brake lever is a straight swap no mod needed.i swapped them because i was getting cramp in my left hand due to over streatching my fingers. ive no problem after fitting these.

Thanks for the advice, looked at the chinese shortys but had bother with a seller on ebay not sending the stuff before, so was a bit dubious, using an r6 perch could be the answer though, id like the longer lever, would definitely help, cheers guys

These were the ones I bought last year, arrived no problem and with no Import duty to pay.  Cost me £29 inc. del. last year but they've gone up slightly to £33 inc. del.  Others on here got caught for Import duty from China so I might have just been lucky.

Are the fzs600 and 1000 levers the same? I can't find Chinese cheapos for the 6 specifically. I'm not really technically minded enough to be doing much more than a straight swap.
