Bike cover stolen

Weird one really, woke up today to find my oxford black/silver (red inside) rainex gone and a silver oxford rainex in its place nicely fitted and fastened up. Mine was quite aged and had cracks and a few tears and the one left has about the same damage. Annoyed about the theft as it was my property and don't feel to comfortable about using the one left as it could of been stolen also. Seriously though whats going on?
Chained up with 2 almax chain's ss65 and 2 squire mc4 ss50 to reach a post throw the bushes.

When I read the title I was about to suggest that the wind blew it away as that's what happened to me yesterday.
It would have to be a hellava wind to blow yours off and blow another on though!

wow that is weird, also thats a competent person, and a bike alarm that is not over sensitive, to allow one off and another one on

A) A jolly jape by passing students
B) Two bike covers were blown off by the winds and a good Samaritan replaced the wrong one???

Don't think it blew away, as it is parked in between cars. No other bikes around, not for a good distance. Will keep a eye out, but so strange, even as a practical joke. Also not inside out, mine was the one on the left, now have the one on the right. Same bike and fully working underneath.
