I've seen a rev'it Nevada Gore-Tex jacket for sale at £183.80 (rrp £399.70) seems a bargain for a Gore-Tex jacket. Anyone had any experiences with this jacket or Rev'it in general?
Comments and recommendations most welcome, especially as this rain isn't going away any time soon.

More expensive but it's the laminate shell found on the more expensive rukka stuff, standard 2 year goretex guarantee,  he was well chuffed with it on his lesson when it pissed down the other Day!

I have the Rev'it Outback Jacket, so a cheaper, none gore tex version.  I find it very comfortable and has not leaked yet, seems strong and good quality.  Several layers, so can be used on a variety of weathers.  for the money I'm happy.  I paid £150, 6 months ago, so that seems a great deal.  I would go for it.

I hate looking for new jackets.
I had to buy one around Xmas time and i think i tried on every style of jacket in my size in the huge J&S store in Watford.
Finally found one that felt okay, took it to the till, and it turns out it was on the wrong hanger and was in fact £450 instead of £150. 


I couldn't justify that sort of money so had to start again, but luckily only took about another 10mins before i found one, which i am now happy with, apart from one small niggle. The manufacturer has put cotton around the end of the sleeves, instead of something waterproof.
As i prefer to put my gloves inside my sleeves, when it rains the cotton gets absolutely drenched and soaks up every bit of rain.
Bit of a strange design, but i like the jacket otherwise..........it's not like we get a lot of rain over here is it? 


The problem is, no new jacket feels as good as your old beaten up one........ever!

I've got a Revit textile jacket.  It's not goretex, but waterproof and I would buy Revit again!  :-)

As i prefer to put my gloves inside my sleeves, when it rains the cotton gets absolutely drenched and soaks up every bit of rain.

This time of year maybe, but would make no difference if it rained in summer, not that i've ever used muffs before.
It's not like i'm on the bike all day, mainly just to and from work which isn't far, so it does get time to dry out, but it is a poor design..
I've got used to putting my gloves inside my sleeves now and much prefer it that way as it's more comfortable as well, but i could always leave the gloves on the outside.

Neoprene muffs in summer!
I also prefer gloves under sleeves, using muffs stops any rain being forced up the sleeves!
