VENHILL throttle cables
« on: 11 November 2013, 08:16:04 pm »
Has anyone tried the VENHILL's throttle cables? Here's the link: http://www.venhill.co.uk/Cables_-_Components_&_Kits/Universal_Cable_Kits/U01-4-150_UNIVERSAL_TWIN_THROTTLE_CABLE_KIT.html
I'll have to replace mine the day after tomorrow and I'm guessing what's better. I can either use cheap repair kit from LOUIS and purchase the original Yamaha cables from Japan in winter or buy this VENHILL stuff. What's better? VENHILL or Yamaha?

I would prefer to go with a cable that already has the nipple ends connected at factory for strength, durability and peace of mind. But if you are happy with DIY needed for these cables go for it and let the rest of us know what you think and how long they last.
