Surely if it's a OE exhaust and it's passed an mot, there's nothing they can do?

Wembley tickets, England v Scotland, 18th June 2021

This may be of interest to you. A friend of mine has two tickets in a corporate box for England v Scotland. He paid £300 each, but he didn't realise when he bought them that it was going to be the same day as his Covid 19 postponed wedding. If you are interested, he is looking for someone to take his place.

It's at Hamilton Registry Office, at 2.30pm. The bride's name is Moira, she's 5'4", about 8 stone, quite pretty, has her own income and is a really good cook.

A day off work, or run a severe risk of dying. Tough decision....  :rolleyes

Probably this vaccine will be similar to the so called flu vaccine, which only works 35% to 40% of the time, and that we are all being used as part of a great medical experiment. T
(As I understand it) the problem with the flu virus, is it's prepared well in advance. So they are predicting how flu will mutate the following winter. I believe for the Covid-19 vaccine, they have copied its genetic code, so it should be much more precise. Unless the Danish minks bugger it up of course...

I think he said he first wanted to test it out on his mum

Yes said that only because he knew he wouldn't be first in the queue. But his 78 year old mum would be.
Somebody on the news suggested Bozo should be first  :D

I wonder how many of those that do not want the vaccine will change their mind if £50 is flashed in front of them.
I doubt very much that will happen. The vast majority of people will be desperate for it.
Jonathan Van Tam said he would be first in the queue, if he could. That's good enough for me. As long as it's run by the proper NHS and not Typhoid Dido (Harding).

Joking aside..... of course I'll be having the vaccine. I trust scientists far more than conspiracy theorists, and even more than politicians. It is going to take time to get through everybody, and it would be good if those who refuse immunisation to be denied the privileges of society, so they don't risk spreading to those still waiting.

I agree. The problem (and the current court case) is the Foreign Office. At best they took their eye off the ball. At worst they are complicit.

Why wouldn't you? In fact I have volunteered for the COVID-19 vaccine trials that Imperial College are running in partnership with Oxford University.

I'm doing it because I think it's important that we all do our part to beat this virus. The vaccine is the one that has been developed in Russia. I received my first dose this morning 06:20 am, and I wanted to let you all know that it’s completely safe, with иo side effects whatsoeveя, and that I feelshκι я чувю себя немного стрно и я думю, что вытл осные уши. чувству себя немго страо

Yep all very civil. Some of us are pinned to Sharpie's toilet wall, but we'll cope with that.

Anyway, it's all over bar the official confirmation. Nothing left to debate. So no more from me either...... apart from possibly the odd funny picture

Thank you, I am running out of space on the staff toilet wall for all these apologies.
Well you can flush that one away, together with the one where you'd written your pointless information  :lol

I heard it on LBC -  James o'brien's show actually and also Sheligh Foggerty - possibly two of the most ferocious media Trump attackers their is.
Yes as I said it's probably true, in context. But misleading.
What you are not meant to do is use it to try to refute another more reliable piece of information. The two are not of equal value.

Where did you get that stat from because all I have been hearing is that more bame voted for Trump this time than they did last time - and especially black women.
There you go playing with misleading statistics again. More voters have voted for both candidates than ever before. So yes, possibly more bame voters have voted for Trump than last time, especially when the bame vote didn't turn out for Clinton. But this time it's almost certainly a smaller proportion than are voting for Biden.
It's amazing what fake news can be spread by pointing at just one isolated piece of data  :rolleyes

What decides how many collage votes a state allocates because as I understand it one state could have 2 million people and only have 5 collage votes but another state could only have 1 million people and yet have 10 collage votes.
Don't think it's quite that bad, but there's a minimum representation of 3 votes. So the tiny District of Colombia gets the same as South Dakota and Vermont

I am not a Trump fan but it does seem that all those that lost the general election to Cam-moron then lost the EU referendum then lost again to May/ Borris -- are now totally rabidly ripping into Trump with all that pent up anger.

And if you've lost, the best thing to do is try to change the subject  :rolleyes

Back on subject :

If you think our 'first past the post' system skews the result, what about America's :eek
Winning by a single vote in California gives you 10% of the Electoral College votes to decide the next President.

What you two fail to understand is that the call was for another referendum, not to 'overturn' the 2016 result. More democracy, not less. In the same way USA will have another election in 4 years.

Anyway, this is about the current election. The Brexit Shitshow is done and dusted, so stop diverting the subject for your own gain.  End of.

To be honest looking at the individual states results there should have to be some kind of coalition. Literally every single state is 50/50!

You're only seeing the 'battleground' states. (Virtually) nobody in New Jersey votes Republican, and nobody in Missisippi votes Democrat.
