Can anyone tell me how do I know what tyre specifications/dimensions I require?
Does this info come from the rims?
All I know is I need new ones, I want pilot road 3's.
I've read diffrent sizes 120/60 and 110/ 70both for the front (i'm just as clueless for the back) How do I know which right for my bike please? Thank you
Any advice apreciated

Oh right. Sorry, I'm a massive twat that's makes stupid assumptions of boxes upon tubular racks. What dumbo ay.
On the plus side I guess this is something I don't need then. Thanks.

My first big plans for me and bike are 1. New tyres 2. Start planning.
I want to go to the Moto GP in Assen Next year. Ferry prices are pretty decent if you book early. Harwich isn't a bad run for me, then google reckons 3 hours from hook of Holland  to the gp circuit.
As my plans gather pace I'll start a thread and see if any other focers would like to join.

Oh forgot to say actually learn music you like. You'll get much more of buzz learning say hey joe (if that's what your into) than greensleeves.

I say learn a mixture, essentially licks that are fun will keep you interested.  Some nice short blues licks that lead into a bit of rythem are a good place to start. Personally I'm a visual learner. YouTube's your friend here.
Patients Is key.
I started with saying learn a mixture. That's because whilst scales are fairly boring as foc, they are the foundation to how chords are made, and later on you'll have a better knowledge and feel for what's gonna come next and you'll be more likely to be able to improvise and do whatever you feel like.
Wish I'd have learn't some basic theory and scales earlier.
Good to get ya hands moving how you want them to as well.
Hope that helps. PEACE!

Cheers guys. Thanks for the answers and the welcome.
In regards to colour. I never thought I'd have a black bike, but now I do, I love it.
Red would have been my prefered choice.
I had no idea about the extra bhp for turning it blue tho :lol. Does this apply to everything if I turn it blue?

Hi everyone just picked up my first big bike. 2001 FZS 600 in black. A year's mot. 16k on the clock, tinted screen, rear hugger, other than that I think it's bone stock.
I'm sure I'll be bombarding the boards with stupid newbie questions. So with out further a due, here's my first.
How much £'s to fill her up?

The fule light was on when I picked her up so I just put in £12 to get me home. Fule indicatator now says just below quarter of a tank is that right?
I was expecting around £20 to fill her up. So by my logic should be half full (ish), Although I plucked that number out my ass.
I'll try and post a picture. Lovely weather for it ay. :/
Any advice on just do mods/things to check would be welcome.
