Fazer 1000/FZ1 corner / Trying to replace front suspension forks. Help needed please!!

Hello... I am trying to rebuild my dads 2004 FZS1000 after he had an accident. I am currently trying to obtain a pair of the front suspension forks but I am having no luck at all here in UK (London Based).


I have managed to find new ones.. but at just over 700pounds for the pair!! hmm  :'(



Are there any alternatives anyone knows or any info you can help me with please please please? (I'm not a motorcycle fan...but my dad is..and I'm rebuilding his bike for him as a surprise)

Haaalllo everyone!!


Just introducing myself here. Im actually rebuilding my Dad's FZS1000 2004 bike as a surprise for my dad. He had an accident on it and never got the motivation to rebuild it after the accident. So I'm going to surprise him... the only thing is motorbikes are not my speciality and I am not too sure what I am doing. So any help from anyone would go a long way!! Thanks so much if you can help and contributing to a great surprise (if I can get it all done).
