Fitted some about a month ago, no problems at all

I'll have a look at the end of the day. I've found a place about 5 miles out that might be able to fix it. Closer than home so worth a punt

I've just got to work and noticed a nail in mine [rear tyre]. Left the damn repair kit at home (not much use there is it). Try to find a garage or risk it getting home?

Well there's some good advice on this forum, it's bloody brilliant.

I've just changed air filter, plugs and TPS unfortunately to no avail. It sorts it out for a while but then back problems.

Hi there,
Is there anyone about in the Wakefield/Leeds area that might be able to help out with balancing my carbs? I don't have the tools to do it myself (or any idea how to for that matter) and I don't have the budget for the garage right now but from all I've read here it could may well be the solution to my general lumpiness. Thought it had to be worth a try, if I didn't ask I'd never know. (There's a cat in a box somewhere thinks I'm a fool)
Cheers.
Chris

Hi there,

Most of my dash board lights have blown out so I have no idea how fast I'm going at night. Does anyone have any idea where I can get replacements from?

Cheers guys.

had same problem, but thankfully it is sorted. 1 time it would show full and the next it would show empty even after I fill up. What I found after stripping a few things off was that the terminals under the tank for the sender unit were a bit green and the rubber cover was twisted. Dismantled the tank, cleaned the terminals, untwisted the rubber cover, put a piece of sponge on the frame where the fuel pump is as when the tank is lowered the terminals maybe touching and earthing against the crossbar under the tank. Did all this and since then had accurate readings on my gauge.  :)

Cheers, I'll have a look at this myself. It never really occured to me that a fuel gauge on a bike could be reliable so I just try to remember to fill up at around 130 miles. It would be nice to have it working properly though

Introduction / Hi there

I'm Chris,
Just to introduce myself, I have a 1998 Fazer 600, just bought after passing my test. Just last night I had to evict a small family of filed mice who had moved in under the fuel tank. It looks like I've been carrying them for a few weeks at least.
