Cheers Joe..
Seen as i'm only across the pond in Ireland i guess i should stick with the 8's then.

 :)

8's are for a lower temperature range (i mean as in the weather) - they're the ones recommended for our temperature here in the UK for the FZS

Could the boxeye lights and fairing be swapped for the foxeye setup...I'm not keen on the new look but safety has to be the important thing ....
LOVE THE COLOUR THOUGH;)

Bit of work involved, but it is possible..   See this ->   http://foc-u.co.uk/index.php/topic,5252.0.html

Sorry --- dont like it --each to their own and all that, but (i think) you have just spent all that money and gone backwards

 :agree
Think the Box lights looked a LOT better..      But as said, each to there own i suppose.. :b

No you will need to loosen the Airbox. It has 3 bolts. One behind each of the side panels and one at the top of the air box under the tank.  You will have to remove the battery to pull back the airbox.

As per above you MIGHT have to remove the airbox, depending on the size of your hands.. ;)
This vid will give you a general idea of what your looking for.

From crash.net:
A Honda statement read: 'The team made a mistake, understanding [Marquez] was able to complete ten [full] laps and come back in before completing lap eleven, and the 'box' instruction on his pit board was therefore one lap late.”

Lol @ above "Honda" statement..
Initially the story was that they were trying to outsmart yamaha because when he came into his pit box
he had not "technically" passed the start/finish line and therefore would be "OK"  :rollin :rollin

Great how many times that story has changed..

Introduction / New Fazer Owner :-)

Hi folks, just thought i'd say hello/ g'day / hi or whatever tickles your fancy :)

As per the title i'm a New Fazer Owner but not a new biker, though i am returning
to bikes after a 10 year self inflicted hiatus.

I miss bikes as i drive a van for a living and need two wheels for a bit of escapism
and thought i'd return for now on a 2002 FZS600..

Glad i've found this place, it's a wealth of info as i've been lurking for a while..

That's it really, nothing more to say but i've probably said enough already!   :z

Cheers..
