What's wrong with it? You've only had it a couple of months.

Nothing is wrong with it, I just fancied something newer.

Took mine out for a spin today as it was nice and gave it a tank full of Shell V Power.

Gave it a wash and covered it in ACF-50. Shame I didn't have any tyre dressing.

The motad exhaust on my bike has a removable baffle. I just removed mine and its now a lovely deep burble.

Its fine when i'm sitting on the bike but notice it when I lift my legs up to put them on the pegs after I pull away.

Borrow a seat for a week ???? Where are you ????
If yr near to Essex it's a possibility but no farting on it or naked riding

Haha, im in Surrey. The reason I'm looking for one, is the guy I bought my bike from shaved a bit of height from the seat and I'm 6ft, so want to see what sort of difference it will make to the ride before I buy one.

FZS600 Fazer / Motad SS System
« on: 03 December 2016, 08:33:36 am »
I've owned my bike now for approx. 2 weeks and love it! Yesterday I removed the removable baffle from the end pipe and i've got to say it has really smoothed out the acceleration. Before, putting the power on around roundabouts  was a bit on/off (this may be down to me though as being a 'new rider ) but now it seems to be a lot more gradual. Also it sounds a bit more deeper which is what I was looking for.

One very happy rider  :D

FZS600 Fazer / Re: Tank fixings
« on: 28 November 2016, 03:47:07 pm »
Thanks Boys. I re-threaded mine today so will see how it goes with the 6mm bolt. If it loosens again i'll upgrade to 8mm.

Hi Guys,

Where the petrol tank bolts down at the front of the bike, is there meant to be any sort of rubber between the tank lug and the frame work?

Kind Regards

For Sale & Wanted / Adjustable levers
« on: 25 November 2016, 03:15:07 pm »
Hi Chaps,

Ive just bought my first Fazer off a fellow member but I've quickly realised I need adjustable Levers (essentially the clutch one) but don't want odd ones.

So before I order a No.16 from Chinese menu does anyone have a pair of titanium or silver 'Long' type levers gathering dust?

The bike is a 2001 Fazer 'S'.

Thanks for the Ad.
