Thanks guys I really appreceiate the time to take photos.

I didn think that white maybe to striking but as the bike is black I wanted a colour that would fit. Are all the types reflective ? I was looking at these.

I was thinkng of something like this.

Can anyone recommend a good filler/weld for the trim ? I have a very slight crack that could do with a little attention!

Just taken my plugs out for a clean and they don't have the terminal on the top that goes on the top of the thread. Now as I have no point of reference is this normal .

Also iridium plugs or normal ? I hear that iridium are not worth the money for the Fazer ?

FZS600 Fazer / Pads. HH or GG
« on: 22 February 2012, 10:59:43 pm »
hi guys,

I am fitting Hel lines on the rear this weekend and although I have about a year of life on the pads think this might be a good time to change. I do no track work and don't ride the bike too hard.

So what pads ? There is talk of a combo of  of HH on the from and GG on the rear. I don't want them to be to grabby so am thinking of GG on the rear and as the from is OK no change. Also as I have about a year or so of pad on the rear should I not bother and just run wi the HEL upgrade.

Cheers dudes

PS if you work for Enfield council they have an offer for free bike safe for employees for 3rd & 10th March.

Cheers dudes. Yes fuse is in a good spot. I may also ask the MOT guy for his thoughts. The MOD is very simple for those thinking about it and there was a great guide on the old site

Hi guys,

I wired both my lights to come on when on dipped with an in line fuse. Now that it is MOT time should intake the fuse out and go back to the normal switching operation ? 1998 fazerFZS600

I wonder if you can use heat resistant plumbing flu sealant  filler ? I have some that is used for fitting ovens and it can resist long term 250 degrees

This worked for my iPad I think reply from mod so no credit to me.

Hi buddy, hope you're enjoying the site, ipad issues aside.

The issue with the I-pad is to do with the SMF WYSIWIG editor used for forum posts.

If you go to your profile and select modify profile> Look and Layout Preferences you will see a series of check boxes.
If you uncheck the "Show WYSIWIG editor on post page by default" then the problem should be solved.

If that doesn't allow it to work again properly let me know and I'll dig out the zip ties and see how else I can bodge it.

We are looking at a couple of wee things to improve functionality on mobile type platforms, but we are still at the testing stage with them, hopefully next few weeks all should be good to go.

I know it is not the simple answer but I can only agree with backing everything up and then do a fresh install of windows and it will be back to normal.

He did say "cheapest, best" ... so I guess a HID kit is the one.

If he'd said "cheapest, easiest" it would be upgraded bulbs.

Anyhow, I'm pissed off with being blinded at night so I've ordered one of  these for 22 of your Earth currency units..

I'll let you know how I get on.

With photos if possible and if it works well a photo install guide. I know I am not after much
