Blind-Spot  mirrors

For £1.99ish some FOCers have fitted blind spot mirrors from Halfords (the rectangular type) but put them on with the thick end of the wedge to the outside of the mirror.  This helps them see what is directly behind them whilst using the rest of the mirror for wider vision.

FZS600 Fazer / Re: handle bar wobble
« on: 19 March 2012, 11:28:55 pm »
I’ve had my Fazer for years and never suffered from the “Fazer 40mph Wobble”
Until the day I did a quickie chain adjustment.

I went for a ride and there it was the wobble!

the only other thing I’d done was a quick chain adjust, slack wheel spindle move adjusters a couple of flats each tighten wheel spindle.

In the past I’ve always used a string line and a packer (1/2 the difference between the tyre widths), to check the alignment, I checked the alignment and it was out.
Readjusted the wheel alignment went out on bike wobble gone.
So I think its down to wheel alignment.
By the way when Fazer wheels are correctly aligned, the alignment marks stamped on the swing-arm are half an alignment mark out.

 Hi
I seem to recall someone splitting a light unit apart by heating the unit in a warm repeat warm oven to soften the adhesive.
It ‘s only from memory, so if go’s tits up it’s on your own head.
