And it works out of the box, you won't need it dynoed. I did my own (slip on) as Mike couldn't fit me in this time, BRILLIANT! Still regret missing the opportunity to meet the great man!

For what it's worth, I have an 04 Fazer thou with it's original battery, I (2nd owner) bought it last December with just over 5,000miles on it and also it had an alarm fitted that I couldn't get my head around so I had it removed (£80) It had been kept on an Optimate, so NORMALLY an alarm shouldn't destroy batteries.

Why don't you try it and let us know, for the benefit of others. I've already done mine, by tapping the holes out so a bit late for me.

AND GET YOURSELF A SCOTTOILER! I am not connected to the Scottoiler company in any way either.

General / Re: earplugs« on: 03 October 2011, 11:09:02 pm »
I've always worn ear plugs since my return to motorcycling about 12 years ago. I suffer from tinitus, and didn't want to make it any worse. I have a standard silencer on my Fazer so it's the wind noise that's the problem. I buy them from Lucy Dell, having tried a trial pack first in order to find some suitable. I've tried the self moulding ones too, but found them worse than the normal type.
