General / Re: Dog wee

I chain my bike to a ground anchor in a mc bay. The problem is, usually at least a couple of times a week somebody is letting their dog piss all over the chain and lock... which means it's a really unpleasant business unlocking my bike. It really really annoys me and unfortunately I've never caught them in the act. Happens on a regular basis. >: The only consolation is that there haven't been any solids as yet so it could be worse!

Don't really want to move my bike, can't move the chain or lock because of the ground anchor..... any suggestions about what to do? Any tricks? I was thinking that there could be an "anti-dog" product that I could put on the lock but I don't know if that sort of thing exists...
Why don't you just set the Fazer to 'Stun'?!    (one for the Star Trek fans out there  :D )

I think you should go with what you want not others make it yours you will always find thoose who don't like it (usally stock bike riders) and thoose who love it (modders) in the end its your project make it as subtle or whacky as ya want
You're right there. I went my own way with my ZX7R and it turned out ok. I do like a well modded bike and there seems to only be a few who do it on here so I will join the minority  :)

This is what I am considering doing. As you can see my photobucket skills are legendary(!) and then I couldn't save the image so had to photo it and upload it again. Opinions?

Finally got around to drilling and fitting my R6 shock along with a Pyramid Plastics hugger. Luke's dog bones look lush and are a great fit  :)

Jon did an article on my Kawasaki last year. He is a good guy. Had a great day talking about bikes and silly things that happen on bike launches  :)

Fitted a scottoiler. Thought it looked pants being held on by cable ties so made a mounting bracket which bolts to the chain guard holes.

Hi there, I'm Andy from Southampton. I have bought a black Gen1 Fazer 1000 with the idea of taking it to the Alps in May. The ride quality and comfort of the Fazer is a revelation for me after spending all my days on sports bikes! I have an R6 shock to fit will be doing a few more upgrades no doubt in the future...... :)
