I know what you mean Tifa - I'll only use it for 'special' rideouts probably. I have a couple of 32Gb cards and 4 batteries, so it shouldn't be a problem. Might get one of their power-packs.  Don't think the video quality is quite as good as the GoPro equivalent, but I got this cheap anyway, and it's certainly good enough for web videos.

Seriously though, I think the Gen II is a great looking bike. Just a shame that it's (reportedly) a bit of a screamer to get to the power. I'm not a fast rider, so the Gen-1i  low down grunt is perfect for me.

Hey! I just came up with a name for Ivanised Fazers!

Wanna race?  :lol :rollin :lol

I don't know you Mick, but it sounds like you've had some bad times recently. Hope things get much better for you and yours real soon.

Best wishes,

Tom.

Just bought a DRIFT HD 1080P second hand, complete with 4 batteries. Not tried it on the bike yet, but it sure looks like a great piece of kit and not as obtrusive on the side of the helmet as some of them are. Will post a video (when the weatherman stops reading 50 shades of grey).

Hmmm, you could push a short length of stiff rubber tubing on the end maybe?

I kinda agree that it's not quite simple filtering in this instance, cos you were effectively queue-jumping, but the end bit was very funny  :lol :rollin :lol  You should have moved forward and leant over to the driver in front and said "Would you like a witness"? LOL

Not a clue mate - just spotted it on the net. It records in a loop like a black box, so you never worry about it coming to an end.

Good post - I look forward to hearing people's views. One thing's for sure - cams can help sort out any claims against idiot drivers.

:lol  Believe it or not, my car has one of these antiquated audio devices built into the dashboard  :lol

I use one of the "Cassette-to-Iphone" thingies and it works superbly! During very quiet passages of music (RARE), you may hear the cassette spools, but other than that, it's all good.

Mine's a Panasonic SH CDM10B...

Sorry about that mate - I didn't really want that tank bag though. Got a Bagster bag already. Good luck with the sale.

I bought my Hein Gericke Master IV outfit 6 years ago and it's still going strong. I've toured many times with it and can confirm it is 100% windproof and 100% Waterproof. It's the ONLY clothing that I've ever used that has been completely and utterly waterproof.  Comes with removable winter-linings and good armour. I'm guessing the Master V outfit is even better!

For anyone in the North West, you might be interested in the deal that my local bike garage is doing. It's a winter service for a great price. The owner is a brilliant mechanic and has been featured numerous times in FAST BIKES Magazine.

I'm surprised to hear that Squitbit - I truly think they're dire as standard. Mine gave off a pathetic yellow glow. I have now replaced them with some super-bright Philips bulbs which have a blue-bright cast and they look much better.

Clearly I'm a bitch for having an opinion. So much for polite debate!

Oh come on Tori - It was humour!  And it was the prisoner who called you that, not me  :lol

I'm with you all the way!

100% agree with Pitternator. Knobs like this are just selfish 2wats.

And what about the knobhead copper who ALLOWS it to carry on instead of guarding the safety of other road users (which is what he's supposedly there to do). I'm guessing he was enjoying the thrill of the chase a bit too much. Really f#cks me off when the Police behave this way - they should prevent accidents, not allow it to go on for miles "to gather evidence".

Had a cracking time. Bit cold, but fantastic time. Enjoyed the mountain pass so much, we did a big circle to see things from the other side...
