Ok, it's good news, so far, but look at the comment at the end: "decision has been taken not to continue with the proposal at this time"...

True but on the bright side we'd can enjoy this summer at least

I have just seen this which says that the planned parking charges for Matlock Bath have been scrapped due to the amount of people that protested.

This is great news and I am now looking forward to eating fish n chips there in the sun and spending a couple of quid in the arcades :D

General / Bagster Easy Road....any good?
« on: 04 March 2013, 03:14:22 pm »

On a couple of bikes I have owned I have had a Bagster tank cover and tank bag, but when selling the bikes I have also sold the cover and bag, always at a big loss.

I was looking earlier for one for my FZ1 and I noticed these universal tank fittings. This would be ideal so I could keep the luggage when changing bikes.

I just wondered if anyone on here has one/had one and if they are any good?

Cheers

I fitted some to the CBR600F Sport I had a couple of years ago. They are great pipes that fitted well and I got mine from the company direct because they are based in Walsall not for from where I live.

They let my wife pick them up so there was no delivery charge and threw in a set of rings/gaskets as well.

I called them for some advice as received great customer service. :)

The online note keeping website Evernote has been hacked and account details taken. They are urging users to go to the website where they will be asked to choose a new password.

I read somewhere last week that Honda was open to him doing some guest rides this year, if he had issues with how Motogp is ran I doubt he will do any, but it would be good to see

I hope he does well. He is a very talented person and was just focused on what he wanted to achieve and let his racing and results do the talking.

On the other hand there's a gap in the market for some sort of secure holder for bikes to display the car park tickets in :-)

I think local businesses will suffer because I can't be bothered to contest a ticket I would rather just go elsewhere

I would get in touch with Derbyshire council and ask them where they expect a ticket to be displayed on a motorcycle. Can they prove you didnt but a ticket which was then removed before the wardens arrived?
