Got a Scorpion on my 2008 on when I got the bike, runs sweet, sounds good no baffle in though, that's where all baffles should be kept in my toolbox. Fitted Fuel exhausts on most of  my previous bikes always found them decent quality, well made easy to fit, didn't upset the running, and sounded nice big plus you get free Kendal mint cake with every exhaust.

Just what we need another p***k to make us all look like complete tools. Cheers you t****R. We all have our moments of madness on a bike but that was complete reckless stupidity.

Bought my eldest son a Ron Haslam day at Donnington for his 21st his first couple of laps with the instructor just following the group, his last couple of  laps were 25 seconds faster then the first 2, he was a fairly quick road rider before the day but says he learnt more in that 1 day course than he had in the last 4 years he had been riding.

We survived old Brit bikes and the early Jap bikes disc brakes that did nothing to stop the bike in the wet. I past my test at 16 and got a 500 Suzuki guess I was one of the lucky ones to survive those early years ridding, went to a few funerals of mates that didn't make it to be 18.

I just do it as I have for the last 40 odd years, don't think about just do, it still in one piece so can't be doing it far wrong.

Sounds like they are just trying it on to me. If it was me I wouldn't touch them with a disinfected barge pole now the free services have run out.

Could not blipping the throttle be the reason so many FZR600 and Thundercat gearboxes had problems with second gear at about 25/30k miles.

Thing I learnt from my first car was it didn't hurt so much when you crashed a car, as when you had a spill on a bike.

There's nothing more satisfying than down changing  3 gears blipping the throttle for a bend you know well and have took hundreds of times at the same speed then totally f*****g it up and finishing in a water filled ditch. Guilty my lord, oh the shame  :o

It might be childish, but f*****g satisfying. Living in a small town it's the usual faces pulling the crazy stunts and I have a good memory for faces.

Strange how the same 3 makes of car always at the top of the list for bad driving guess it depends where you live as to what order they are in. round here it's Merc Audi then BMW, tied for third place with Range Rovers/discovery bullies. Hope the rider is soon back in the saddle.

I don't have a problem with the seat on my gen2 can't ride much more than a 100miles between fuel stops any way, so never been on it long enough to find out with stretching my legs.

What ever it was, Mayweather is going to have a comfortable retirement and good luck to him, and he retires undefeated if I'm not mistaken.

To my mind it was a one sided fight 2 completely different fight disciplines, it's like entering a horse in the grand national and tying it's back legs  together. It was purely about making money both for the fighters but mainly the promoters etc. If  they had fought under MMA rules Mayweather would not have lasted the first 3 rounds.

Only bit of advice I can offer don't act the t**t with her on the back, we used to go all over on the bike till I acted the t**t on a ZZR 1100 that's the last time she's been on pillion that was about 10 years ago.

It sounds too good to be true to me a 3 year old bike averaging less than 600miles a year in it's first 3 years (only new bike I ever owned average more than 600miles a month in it's the first 3 months)  then stored for 16 years?. It's going to cost you about 2k-2.5k to buy and get on the road me I would be looking for a much newer and 15-20000 miles on it with a history.  What ever you decide enjoy your new bike take it easy to start with till you get a bit of experience and treat every other road user as a complete idiot some wont disappoint you.

VNA thought I made it quite clear I do not condone or like Nazis or KKK in my previous post or any other group that tries to force their views on other people.

VNA it takes 2 opposing sides to cause a punch up. I don't condone or like what the Nazis, kk stand for, my granddad and uncle spent 5years fighting them, both wounded, 1 at Dunkirk the other in a raid on Norway. America like this country has freedom of speech that is for everyone not just the what certain section of society believe to be right. if you go back through history the commis, left wing have nothing to be proud of. Stalin and his commis committed atrocities equal to the Nazis ask some of the polish people taken prisoners.

Got to the point few months ago I had to admit sports bikes were no longer an option dodgy knees, wrists, and back walked like Quasimodo after an hours ride. Tried a few different bikes then tried an FZ1S gen2 bought it there and then goes well handles well not met a sports bike yet that can lose it on real roads. It isn't arm chair comfortable but I don't walk like Quasimodo even after a 2/3hrs ride It's the best compromise between sports bike and comfort for an old fart hooligan I could find. Not ready for a Harley or Bonnie yet
