You do need a vest for if you break down on the motorway. You don't need to wear it though when riding. That law was dropped as well.

I believe the breath kit law has been dropped now.

Its a requirement to carry a spare bulb kit in France too so you can change the bulb at the roadside if one blows.

Have you ever tried changing the headlight bulb on a 2002 Laguna? Remove both front wheels, remove wheel arch liners, remove front bumper and then, remove headlight to access the bulb.

Are you mad?

On a bike I have never used them. Come to that, I have never used them on the car or van either.

I think its always been there but now with the internet everyone hears about it whereas all you heard about before was the nonce on the estate where you lived.

I think its getting quite difficult to name an innocent TV presenter from the 70's now.
Wait till they start on the 80's and Philip Schofield, Chris Tarrant, Noel Edmonds and Mr Blobby, not to mention the Chuckle Brothers, all end up being accused!

I know a few people that have been. The first day (Thursday??) is more corporate. Can be good if the weather is there seeing all the cars but forget getting test drives booked unless you manage it a long way in advance.

How much do you want to spend? Have a look at the Palmer autosport days out. Cost a packet but feccin good driving lots of different cars flat out on a circuit. None of this speed restriction bollox you get on a normal driving experience. The fastest driver wins a prize here!

Corrosion - Fine sand paper and a squirt of WD40 will fix that once the old tyre is off.

Renoooo and others have a feature that basically says to itself, you are doing an emergency stop so there must be a hazard so I must warn others.

I, like others, use my hazards in the cage on the motorway if traffic slows down suddenly. Gives the muppets behind a bit of a heads up that something other than a normal slowing down is happening. Never used them on the bike when moving though.

In some EU countries filtering is technically illegal and if someone knocks you off - it's your fault.

Ive only recently discovered France is on this list. Doesn't affect me though as a traffic jam in france to me is two cars in front of you at a stop sign.
