Its a GSXR 750 Slingshot.

Just apply to the DVLA for a new log book.

Do nothing to it until you have a V5 in the new owners name.

Why Hyperpro make the adjustment holes round and the adjustment tool square is beyond me  :rolleyes

Your gonna enjoy the ride quality, even though you think I set it up too hard  ;)

When everything is going right, its a pleasure.
Once you get a few bad apples or politics rears its ugly head, its another story  :rolleyes
After nearly 10 years it got too much.....Rallies to organise, membership, merchandise, power happy mods and to top it all, I dont like playing post police.

Nice, really nice....

I was in the gobi in 2006, travelling in 4WD though, would love to go back by bike...

It was challenging, if not a bit desolate...

Ive hardly travelled through the UK, everywhere feels like home and I like to feel 'out there'...

Cover the bike in ACF50.

Except anything you dont want to slip off......seat, pegs, brakes, tyres etc.

It does what it says on the tin!

I think it would be good to start a(nother) new touring thread for everyone to post their 2014 touring experiences/photos etc on soon.

I'd be up for a bit of that  :)

Youll get wifi at most accomadation, cafe's and the like, but, I still stand by my original post and recommend a £20 Nuvi 310.

As for problems with GPS in the mountains, I have NEVER had that!

This is a handy site Ive used for the passes  :)

They list all of the passes, opening times, tolls and they rate the rides with gold, silver and bronze routes, all for bikers.

http://www.alpineroads.com/passes.php

I probably should have put this post in your touring thread  :rolleyes

I can't go to hot/humid places for medical reasons, much as I'd love to see some of those places. Just not an option.  :\
[/quote]

Im the same, I have really bad hyperhydrosis and I suffer in far away places but Im 'living the dream' while my spine lets me. Chronic degenerative disc disease and many spinal operations later has made me re-assess my priorities and pushed me into getting stuck into my 'bucket list'  ;)

Arctic circle in 2015 and South America in 2016 and the list is mostly complete  :b
