FZS600 Fazer / Brake/clutch levers
« on: 06 July 2012, 05:50:00 pm »
Ayup peeps I stupidly stalled and dropped me bike yesterday when waiting to turn right and ive been very lucky.  The only damage is to the front brake lever its bent like a banana LOL. Can anyone reccomend any cheap stubby replacement levers or am i best just getting an original.??   And are they easy to swap over thanks peeps :) .

The goverment are scumbags  id like to see john prescott rolling round the floor and arresting people having to work till hes 67 and pay more into his fat cat pension.  They dont care about crime or safety of the public as they are safe in there country mansions with security cameras and gates.  It must be hard for them struggling on their £300 a day commons expenses drinking subsidised beer.    TW8TS......Rant over :lol

Cheers guys Oxygen im going to buy the speed healer thanks for the link to the site etc.  When I need a new chain and sprocket im going to go one down at the front and one up at the back (I think thats right) :rollin to get a little more economy when in 6th gear with all the petrol price increases i think its worth the change. A few of us went to Betws y coed llanberris snowdon etc last night and we werent hanging about  :car and I got 57mpg so not to bad. Can anybody reccomend a good sprocket chain kit thanks Kazz  ;) .

instructor advised doing different days so we can concentrate on mod 1 training the day before that and mod 2 training for the 2 days before that test.  I think im just getting a bit nervous cos i really want to pass and go out for a ride on my fazer.
Lol I was the same as you shiny new Fazer sat in the kitchen wanting to go out and play :sun . Couple of things that helped me Dont use any back brake on emergency stop and start to brake as soon as you go through the speed trap , and when you do the swerve dont go through the cones straight go on an angle towards the swerve cone makes it much easier also shut the throttle off as soon as you go through the speed trap on the swerve as it makes the steering (swerve) really easy remember the examiners an  :moon ..with a gimp mask on..lol
Good Look Kazz

Expect the examiner to come accross as very serious :'( but expect this from the (tw@*) and dont let it put you off.  Take loads of deep breaths when hes telling you what to do next as soon as youve listened ignore the rest of his blurb tell yourself to do your shoulder checks keep calm and relax and show him what you can do. I was absolutely crapping myself  :lol  but i passed with no minors and found it easy just keep watchin all the vids on you tube then the mod 2 is a piece of piss regards Kazz :D .
