Shift work does have its plus points to be fair, empty shops midweek, no sitting in rush hour traffic, off peak gym if that's your thing...

For those who live in the best part of the British isles post on here and lets get a list going, perhaps organise some meets or rides out?

I'll start a list then, add yourselves on. I'm up for a trip out when it warms up  :)

My new steed. One owner from new before me, 16k and full Yam history.
Hope I can keep it this clean, I've no garage but got a cover and lots of ACF-50.

Enjoy it gents  8)  Do the same rules apply to bikes in France that they apply to cars, hi viz, triangle and spare bulbs etc?
I fancy doing a short WW1 battlefield tour on mine, probably next summer. Managed to trace great great Grandad's war grave
and fancy going over to pay my respects.

General / Re: A Fazer Will Never be a Classic!

I reckon it will make classic status similar to how the 400/4 has. Nimble, pokey well priced honest bike that sold well. It'll never be worth mega bucks like Z1 etc but will still be a worthy classic IMHO.

I've been thinking of that Chris, I'll be looking at a training session of some sort when it warms up a bit. I've had bikes from being a nipper but times move on and skills decay.

Here it is, I'm chuffed to little bits. One owner from new, 16k miles, full Yam service history. Had to go for a ride despite it being freezing, first time in 9 years and I must have been riding like me nan, but I were still grinning like a self abusing ape inside me lid.  :lol

FZS600 Fazer / Re: Give us a hand guys.
« on: 23 March 2013, 06:40:45 pm »
That blue foxeye looks the one to me, nice BMW R1200S in that pic too. The silver one at Viva Moto has been there a while so you might get a few quid off.

One of these is going to be near the top of the shopping list when my new beast turns up. It's stock barring flip screen and givi rack and in nice crud free condition so I'd like to keep it that way. I'm also thinking hugger, rad guard, maybe a belly pan. Already picked up some ACF-50

FZS600 Fazer / Outdoor cover

Could anyone recommend a decent outdoor cover to fit foxeye with taller screen and givi topbox?
Cheers :-)

I know it sounds a bit lame but you could try sticking up some posters/stickers. Someone was letting their dog shite in the alley outside our back gate, sent off for some of these, freebies but took a while to come, stuck 'em on t'back wall, problem near enough solved, shit's now just smeared on the cobbles where they've tried to pick it up  :rolleyes

I didn't get to go and look, sorry for lack of update. My wee boy wasn't well and SWMBO was off on
a hen do so couldn't really drag him out all the way to Bradford. I'll have a gander weekend after next
if it's still there. Made my mind up on the fazer 6 as the bike for me though, I'll def be having one :-)

Owdoo all, hoping to become a "Born again biker" shortly. Made my mind up after much deliberation that a Fazer would
be the ideal tool for me to restart biking after a 9 year layoff. Going to look at a blue fox eye model tomorrow, fingers
crossed SWMBO won't kick off too much... Any pointers much appreciated  :)
