For Sale & Wanted / WTD: FZS600 Carbs
« on: 11 February 2014, 02:14:32 pm »
Hi all,

After a set of Carbs for an FZS600. They don't need to be functioning. I just want to have a fettle with them before I strip mine

Cheers chap,

Also need to replace the coolant pipes that go in to the head as one has sprung a slight leak after a good ride

Quick Update, decided to ditch the wing rack as I never used the thing. He's a quck pic before he was put away for the next few weeks.

Job's when back on the road are:

New rear tyre
Fit carbon fender extender
Replace Carb Rubbers
Balance Carbs

Tried this at the Bike Show at the NEC. Utter garbage. A massive unit infront of your eye, obscuring your view, no thanks!

FZS600 Fazer / Fork Seals
« on: 29 November 2013, 11:33:03 pm »
My left seal has developed a slight leak, not much at all but now i know it's there I want to sort it.

Any magical fixes, or anyone fancy 'helping' replace the seals and oil :)

(I use the term 'helping' loosely. I'm useless, you'll be mainly doing)

FZS600 Fazer / Hard Wearing Rear Tyre
« on: 23 November 2013, 09:21:26 pm »
As above. After a new rear tyre, something that will give me more miles than smiles :)

173
It wont flow out the drain hole UNTIL you remove the rad filler cap under tank!! :lol

That said, I remove the drain bolt prior to removing the filler cap. If there are any leaks the fluid should trickle out. If the fluid doesn't budge then the system is air tight

I'd go for SMD topped bulbs if possible. They're a lot brighter. Electronics is my hobby :)

This is the effect of white and blue SMD LED's in my car

Thanks buddy, super star. How many bulbs did it use?

Awesome project by the way. I wish I had the time and money to plough into mine like that. Slowly getting round to doing little odd jobs I want doing on it.
