Had the t30's on my 600 all last season and half of this year's, can't really fault them in the dry , great fun in the corners because the tread pattern stops early so the edge parts are pretty much slicks lol , just changed to pr3's and really enjoying them now and there amazing in the wet where as I found the t30s struggle in the wet .

It's really deep scratch , at the mo I have pulled the decal off and have rubbed down the lips with 1200 and filled the scratch with scratch pen clear coat , going to let that cure then flatten with 2000 and polish out , wish me luck .

Wankers probably wish they had there own bike but don't because it's hard to save up at the job centre.  C##ts!

I’m tempted, but half the riding I do is at night and being able to cut out the glare of the trillion-candlepower headlights behind with my elbows is a massive benefit of crap mirrors!
They should make them with that flip up thing that car rear-view mirrors have

Don't know if it would work? I think they rely on rear windows reflection?

FZS600 Fazer / track day tyres
« on: 05 July 2017, 10:04:50 pm »
hey guys.

thinking about a track day (novice only brands hatch in august) atm i have new set of bridgestone t30 evo's fitted to my fzs600,
my question is can i ride the 70miles to brands, spend the day learning the track, have some fun, and ride home again on the same tyres ?

or will the tyres be done for?

sorry for the novice question but really dont know how tyres last on track for a first timer

PS i have reasonable experience on road and ride hard at times and my tyres usually last around 7000 (t30 evo)

only 12x8 (wife free zone) but big enough for bike bench chair tools etc , saving up for a sealey space saver lift next

Great looking shed Matt.
If the floor in your new shed is tongue and groove boards timber (T&G) place a piece of 3/4 inch ply under where the life will live, the casters on the lift may disappear  through the 8mm thick T&G boards and end up with your bike laying on its side after falling 2 or 3 foot from the lift.

Cheers bud, already thought of that lol laying 18mm osb3 throughout for a bit more strength

+1 for red rubber grease, Just make sure you wipe off the excess afterwards so grit doesn't stick & collect around your piston.

how much would a kebab shock cost? the bikes done 32000 so past the 20000 threshold , prob time for an upgrade then,
I found a ZX10R 07 rear shock in my garage today. Forgot all about it. It's only done 37 miles from new then got swapped. It looks like it should fit.  8)
reckon it will fit? have you got any pics?
