Hi allHi Flooky, do you mean Ognibene?
I just ordered a chain and sprocket kit from " bike torque racing ", it came with the ognabene chain tool.
I fitted the kit yesterday and the tool works great, if any body is wondering about it, it works well.
I have used various chain rools before but this is a good and cheap bit of kit.
With some luck my jet kit will arive this thursday, not sure yet when i'm going to install it. I bought the bike with a broken waterpump and thats all repaired now but i only driven it once. I don't want to say it scared me but holy #@&* it's fast already.Yes, the R1 engine is definitely scary in this bike, mainly on the standard roads and in higher revs. But the FZS version is very usefull for daily usage and even more with Ivans jet kit.
I would like to get a dyno run before and after so i can see what the result is.
It seems longer and longer now every time I post updates, but good news is on the horizon - for TFT Dash owners the Navigation update is really close to being released. Thought I would post a quick video on the first Road test I did earlier today with the Navigation update working in conjunction with my iPhone via Bluetooth. Android users can expect an app release soon after this is out (it won't be long). But for the latest update video, the link is below:
Any suggestions or queries, do let me know.
Great! It is looking very good now. So I am looking forward for Android version :-)
Stay safe
Danny
I know for sure that there's no jet kit installed. I've cleaned the carb's and everything looked original. I also live in the Netherlands and as far as i know there aint many ivanized fazers over here. I'm not affraid to work on the carb's or engine and i actually like to take things apart. I will order the mb kit and with all the instructions on this forum i guess it will all be alright. Thank's for the reactions and Mike, if i mess things up may i ask for your help?then the MB kit is good for you. you will enjoy the work on it.The worst part of work is to get the carbs out and back in :-D
Sounds expensive 180 just for the adapters. Here are the links for the front brake discs, wich includes the adaptersI am not sure whether we mean the same adapters. I means adapters which holds front brake calipers and move them bit further and allows to fit 320mm discs

SBS makes bigger brake disks and adapters fro them aswell, I just contacted my parts shop to order them for meOk good information.Honestly, I received a package with 320mm brembo discs yesterday. They are used but looking to be in good condition.I found out who makes the adapters in Italy, so ordered them from fy Alth. Waiting for them now. I payed 180€ shipped for the adapters.
thank you mate, your posts are really helpful!I am trying to find the best solution for my thou.Where have you found those adapter please? Its made my SW-Moteck, I have checked and its still a current stock item, but your looking at January now - https://www.sw-motech-shop.co.uk/Mirror-extension-Profile-Black-Yamaha-FZ1-Fazer-08-
And looking at the spacer I should be able to apply Gnashersa suggestion to that also. Ive been told my the shop above that its polymide plastic, so even easer to elongate the holes with a round file.
