you should be able to use the adjusters, spacers, washers and springs of your forks in the '98 ones, using your model's oil level.

there should be no difference between the standard and iridium spark plugs... if the standard ones are in good shape. the difference will be noticeable with time, the iridium ones last longer, doesn't lose bits in the process and the spark is more consistent

and they aren't sooo expensive...

The 20% mix is premixed. I picked it because I thought the freezing point was enough for my area, didnt thought about other factors...

I'll buy a 50% mix and try the radflush.

FZS600 Fazer / rust in cooling circuit
« on: 26 July 2015, 06:11:22 pm »
A couple of months ago, I changed the antifreeze of my fzs. As it was very brown and with a lot of mud, I cleaned the circuit with a lot of water until the water was transparent, and finally put 20% antifreeze...

Now, the green antifreeze is brown again, not so muddy as before, but the problem is there again. After disassembling all the hoses, there are two metallic pipes that looks like are rusting inside (the two next to the cylinder number 1).

So... If I clean the pipes again (pipe by pipe) and fill the circuit with antifreeze, will it rust again? Should I pay about 180 euros  :eek  for a pair of new pipes?

Hi,

I own a blue FZS600 '03 since 2007. I recently found this forum while searching for information to solve some mechanical problems...

Cheers
